David founded the Polarity Center of Seattle in Washington, which he operated for 7 years, before founding the Center for Health Evolution in Portland in 2001. He has 25 years experience working in traditional mental health settings. David has worked in crisis management with children and adult seniors, was public guardian for Multnomah County, the Director of Adult Mental Health Services for Deschutes County, and Director of Public and Mental Health in Lincoln County.
In graduate school, David was mentored and taught by some of the world’s best psychologists, such as Harold Blumenfeld.
David now works on a contract basis as Mental Health Examiner for the state of Oregon, and half time with his Center for Health Evolution, where he takes clients on a sliding scale based on their income.
